Off to the CIC Learning Technologies Conference
As Jeff Swain points out over at the ANGEL Community Hub, many ETS staffers are off to the CIC Learning Technologies Conference this week. We are well represented and will hopefully provide some great insight into the types of things ETS is doing to support teaching and learning with technology. I am sorry I cannot attend as I am still on “new baby house arrest” and not traveling like that … here’s to hoping the folks out in Minnesota are podcasting their sessions! From Jeff’s post:
- Allan Gyorke, Chris Millet, Gary Chinn and Tom Davis doing a presentation on the hot team process, “Hot Teams: Rapid Evaluation of Learning Technologies
- John Harwood in on a panel discussing lessons in large course redesign
- Gary Chinn is also doing a presentation with Patti Banyas of Michigan State titled, “Developing and Implementing a Blended Learning Program”
- Mike Halm and Allan Gyorke are doing a presentation on Lionshare: Academic Collaboration and Sharing
- Pat Besong and Tom Davis are doing a presentation titled “The Penn State Approach to Streaming Systems Integration and the TEACH Act
- Elizabeth Pyatt and Terry O’Heron are doing a presentation titled “Thinking Beyond the Book Bag: Partnering with Online Textbook Publishers”
- Vicki Williams is serving as one of the conference co-chairs.
