Peer Reviewing and Drop Boxes - Check in/Check out Feature?

Does anyone know if the ANGEL dropbox (set to peer review) has a check in/check out feature? For example, if a student submits a paper, they would be able to have "first rights" at another paper to check out and review (so that they don't have to wait for their peer review partner to submit his/her paper).

Any thoughts on this happening in ANGEL or elsewhere would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Beth

Grading options for fill-in-the-blank questions

Does anyone know the difference between the various grading options for ANGEL fill-in-the-blank questions?

Thanks,

Check in/Check out Dropbox?

Does anyone know of any scripts in ANGEL that allow for a student to upload a document to a dropbox and then choose a document to download (but only if they uploaded a document) for a peer review? An instructor in our program is looking for something like this...sort of a check in/check out feature of a drop box. Thanks!

Feedback Images for Quizzes

Hello there,

I have an instructor who had images as feedback for ANGEL quizzes. We are noticing that these images are not showing up this term in the feedback. When we look at the quiz question in "edit mode," we see this:

1) Where is the image?
2) How did this happen?
3) How do we fix it? (We don't even see an image upload button to be able to remedy the situation)

Assuming an answer...

4) How do we prevent this from happening in the future?

Thanks,
Beth

Copy Course or Export/Import

What are the latest thoughts on the "cleanest" way to get content over from one ANGEL course to another (from semester to semester)? We are trying to have as little "unwanted content/junk" carry over as possible (for example, our core content isn't even in ANGEL - it's on our own servers - and some of our courses approach the 1GB limit before the course even begins). I've heard master courses being mentioned (but that seems like a lot to ask of faculty every semester) and I've heard that using the copy course tool rather than import/export wizard is a good way to get the courses over.

Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Beth
