To optimize the performance of Penn State's Course Management System, ANGEL, during fall finals week, the Import Wizard and Export Wizard tools will be turned off from 4:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 until 6:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20. These tools include the Copy Course, import Content Package, import Master Course, and export ANGEL Archive functions. The tools for importing and exporting individual lesson content items between courses and groups will be turned off as well. These are only temporary changes to improve ANGEL performance during the period of intense usage associated with finals week.

I saw a gradebook built like the following:

I have a course that is based on a Master Course. The import was done from the dev. space and everything seems ok except when I click on a discussion forum I get an error message.
"An error has occurred on the server. "

This happens on every discussion forum in the course. It was not a problem during the fall semester.

Any advice on what to do next? I was thinking maybe delete them and copy from the Fall section...

Does anyone have any suggestions for handling peer evaluations in Angel?

I have an instructor who has issues each term with the images in her ANGEL quizzes showing up/not showing up. Almost always the images will show up for students if she tells them to right-click on the area the image is supposed to be and select show image (or something of the sort). But this time, it isn't working for the student.

For example this student sees graphics for certain questions, but not for others when she right clicks and selects "show picture." However, the instructor and I can see the graphics.

What are some possible reasons for the images not working...and why the inconsistencies?

Is there a way to post content on ANGEL, but to restrict it so that it's only playable within ANGEL? The reason I ask is that I have a faculty member who wishes to post MP3s for a music class. They play in ANGEL quite nicely but there doesn't seem to be a way to prevent students from right clicking on the file and downloading the MP3. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated.

I got a question from a faculty member that is having trouble with the display/appearance of items in ANGEL. An example is his calendar entries for a course - when he hovers over an event, the background color of the pop-up box and/or the font of the text blend into the page background. I am wondering if it is a Firefox 3 issue? - that is his browser on a PC (Win XP, I think). Does ANGEL support this version?
