This post continues on the discussion of the Course and Resources tabs. To read the entire conversation check out the two prior posts: ANGEL v7: The Course Tab and The Course Tab and Resource Tab in v7.

Instructors can add, remove, and rearrange the content of the Course tab by selecting the Edit Page link located under the course name (see the attachments titled "v7editpagelink"). Instructors can perform an identical operation in the Resources tab by selecting the Edit Page link located under "Resources" on the top-left-hand side.

Note: These functions are independent of each other. Changes made on the Course tab will not affect the Resources tab and vice-versa.

Selecting the edit link from the Course tab takes your to the Course Home Layout page (see the attachment titled "v7coursehomelayout"). Selecting the edit link from the Resources tab takes your to the Course Resources Layout page.

Content can be added to either page by making a selection from the Available Components field and clicking the Add Component button. You can choose where to place each component by making the appropriate selection(s) from the Component Layout box. Placement choices include the page Header, Footer, and Columns 1, 2, and 3. Components can be removed from the page by clicking on the X button next to its name.

Note: Page sections left blank, e.g. the Footer, will not appear included when the tab is displayed.

In addition to the default components provided for each tab, instructors can also include such things as the course syllabus, roster, mail, calendar events, discussion forums, etc. Note: A comprehensive list of the available components will be released at a later date.

For the changes to take affect instructors must select the Save button. Either page can be reset to its original state by selecting the Use Defaults button.
