Course editors, did you know you can sequence lesson content items when adding them to your course?
Traditionally whenever content items are added to a course they appear at the bottom of the list. However, with ANGEL 7.1 editors have the option of placing the item in the order they wish it to appear by using the Sequence option while in the content item's Settings. The Sequence filed, available under Content tab by selecting the Advanced view, is a numeric value that determines the display sequence of the content item on the Lessons page. The lower the number assigned to the content item the closer that item appears to the top of the page. For instance, a content item given a sequence value of 1 will appear at the top of the page. An item given a sequence value of 10 will appear lower on the page.

Caveat
One thing to watch out for when doing this is that ANGEL does not renumber other items on the lessons tab when you change an item's sequence number. For example, you could set every item's sequence to 1; ANGEL will not "bump" the sequence number of other items in response to this. When multiple items have the same sequence number, ANGEL will display the items in the order that they were originally added to the course. If you import the course into another section, the order that the items are displayed may change even if the sequence numbers are the same.
The quick way to fix this is to click Rearrange after you reorder items using sequence number, then Save. ANGEL will then update each item's sequence number to reflect its current position in the list.
Good point
Thanks, Jen!
