Disappearing SWF FLASH files in Angel

HELP!

I'm not sure if there is already a solution/fix/work-around for this, but whenever a flash file is opened within ANGEL, it doesn't work quite right. Upon scrolling, in some cases, it disappears completely; in others, parts of it disappear. I've attached two screen captures as an example.

This is only the case in Mac Mozilla-based browsers (Firefox 2.0.0.8, Camino Version 2007022813). No problems at all in PC.

The problem is independent of the embed code because it issue persists whether it's opened using an html file with embed code or if the .swf file is opened directly.

Have there been any solutions to this? Workarounds?

The only solution we have right now is to open any files containing .swf files in a new window.

Thanks!

Firefox bug

It's a known issue and caused by a bug in Firefox for the Mac. It will need to be fixed in Firefox, not ANGEL.

Try setting the file that contains the swf to open in a new window with no banner.

A second Firefox issue

I also noticed this issue today in Firefox 2.0.0.8's release notes:

Some users have reported problems viewing Macromedia Flash content on Intel Mac computers. To work around this problem, users can remove or move the PowerPC version of "Flash Player Enabler.plugin from /Library/Internet Plug-Ins.

You may want to try that suggestion as well.

thanks for the replies; I'll
