An update was applied to ANGEL during the maintenance window on April 16. If you have any questions regarding this update, please contact ANGEL Support. To see the details for this update, please click "read more" below.

  • CSCS: if a user ID is entered for a consultant that contains spaces, the spaces are removed. If an email address is entered instead of user ID, everything after the "@" is removed so that only the user ID remains. This fixes a data entry problem that could prevent consultants from being able to access proposals they were asked to review.
  • CSCS: SCR numbers are now available for cross-listed courses.
  • The utility to migrate message boards to discussion forums is now working.
  • When setting up categories in the gradebook setup wizard, the box to enter the number of assignments to drop (or use highest) was not displaying in Firefox. this is now fixed.
  • If an editor enters text instead of numerals or a macro as a gradebook score, this text is stored as a "label" and displayed to the student in the report console and to the editor in the default gradebook view. If the editor later entered a macro or numeric score, the new score would be stored but the label was not removed. This would cause the points or percentage assigned to not be shown to the student in the reports console or to the editor in the default gradebook view. This has been fixed; in this situation the label is now removed and the numeric score is recorded. This fixes a situation in which using a space to remove a grade caused no grade to be shown to the student. ANGEL Support still recommends deleting scores rather than using a space to remove them.
  • When copying the gradebook's settings using Manage➝Gradebook➝Preferences➝Copy Gradebook Settings the gradebook mode (points or percentage) was not being updated. This is now fixed. Please note that there is still a bug that causes the mode to not be updated when using the copy course or archive import tools. The gradebook will default to percentage mode in this situation.
