LOR Access in Groups?

I've created an LOR titled "Education Technology Resources." It will hold, among other things, student tutorials on a variety of ed tech, starting with an introduction to podcasting.

Problem is, you can't access an LOR from within a group, so any students wishing to use the LOs in the LOR within their own groups can't do so.

I was hoping this would not be the case in 7.3, but it is. Any suggestions on alternatives?

Actually, this is possible. The default in ANGEL is for LORs to not be available to groups. We may have this turned off for a reason or it may be that no one asked. I'll look into it. Why don't you email Irma and I with some details of how you plan the LOR to be used? Email is a better venue for that type of discussion than the hub, I think.

If you want a non-LOR approach then storing the content outside of ANGEL is probably your best best. Static web pages could go into departmental PASS and students can link to them. That's a lot more work for the user, though, and not as intuitive.

Brett, this sounds like a great resource! If I can make a suggestion, would you talk to Terry about it? This might be something that the operations group would like to hear about.
