ANGEL 7.3 New Features Town Hall Recording

This is a recording of a Town Hall session I delivered simultaneously to a live audience and via Adobe Connect. The was an open discussion forum where the new tools and features of ANGEL 7.3 were explored in depth. Topics covered included several interface changes, some updated features, as well as some new ones. Click here to play the Adobe Connect recording: ANGEL 7.3 Town Hall.

Print Syllabus and Paragraph Spacing with HTML Editor

Subject: ANGEL v7.3

I still have some faculty using the default template on the Syllabus tab. They are having two issues with it in 7.3. First, the "Print" option that used to be on the Syllabus tab seems to be gone. I have searched in the kb and here in the hub for more information and found no results. Faculty have had to highlight the entire template, choose to open it in a new browser window, and then print from there. However, the steps are very browser-specific and the users need to be just a little web saavy to know how to do this.

Seeing who in the class has opened a sent email in 7.3

Previously in ANGEL, an instructor could send an email out to the class, and see who opened it and when. I do not see that option in 7.3. Is it still there somewhere?

August 19 ANGEL update

Update: this update was applied to ANGEL on August 19.

We're planning an update to ANGEL that will make three noticeable changes. Details are available by clicking the Read More link. If you have any questions or concerns about how this will affect you, please contact ANGEL Support.

This update is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, August 19. It will be the last scheduled update planned for ANGEL until late September, so no new changes will be introduced before the start of the fall semester.

A notice about ANGEL update notices

In the past, ANGEL Support has posted notes here after an update was applied. Due to changing roles and time constraints that hasn't happened a while.

We've received feedback from the ANGEL community that updates sometimes bring unexpected changes in functionality and can be disruptive. The ANGEL team takes this feedback seriously. We're going to try something new to help address this concern and post a note here about upcoming updates before they happen. We can't guarantee that this will happen for every update; sometimes a change needs to be pushed to ANGEL urgently to correct an issue, or we may not have enough lead time on an update to get together a notice, or staff may not be available to post something.

extra HTML code in feedback text boxes

I am having a problem with extra HTML code showing up in the feedback textbox when I am grading an exam. Whenever I go to Utilities --> View, Grade, or Delete Submissions --> Grade (by someone's name)... i see the questions of the exam, as well as extra code in the feedback box (see attached image). I am having to delete it for each student and then type in my comments. Anyone know how to prevent this code from showing up?
