Does anyone know the difference between the various grading options for ANGEL fill-in-the-blank questions?
Thanks,
Beth

I've devised a solution for an "Angel challenge" I experienced for some time. This little process allows me to to better segment many different Angel resources (discussion forums, documents, dropboxes etc.), that are tied to a single lesson, but appear in a long list on the page.
Similar results can be achieved with a simple file and folder structure, but for a number of reasons (I won't take time describe), I needed to do it this way. I hope this helps someone, or at least spawns other ideas on flexibility within Angel.

Does anyone know of any scripts in ANGEL that allow for a student to upload a document to a dropbox and then choose a document to download (but only if they uploaded a document) for a peer review? An instructor in our program is looking for something like this...sort of a check in/check out feature of a drop box. Thanks!

A new article I have added to the Help & Information Guide explains how to override quiz settings such as time limit, end date, or maximum attempts for specific students while keeping the existing settings for the rest of the class. See http://angelkb.ais.psu.edu/article.asp?article=1516&p=2
The short version is:
1. Create a team and add the specific student(s) as members.
2. On the quiz settings Access tab, select the name of the team.
3. Change the settings for just that team in the new window that opens.
HELP!
I'm not sure if there is already a solution/fix/work-around for this, but whenever a flash file is opened within ANGEL, it doesn't work quite right. Upon scrolling, in some cases, it disappears completely; in others, parts of it disappear. I've attached two screen captures as an example.
This is only the case in Mac Mozilla-based browsers (Firefox 2.0.0.8, Camino Version 2007022813). No problems at all in PC.
The problem is independent of the embed code because it issue persists whether it's opened using an html file with embed code or if the .swf file is opened directly.
Have there been any solutions to this? Workarounds?
The only solution we have right now is to open any files containing .swf files in a new window.
Thanks!

I needed to list out the members from my teams. While I could use the roster to get an entire list, the team members would not be concurrent. So I used the "Remove Users" command from the Teams tool. It pulls up the team members, and you can then print out the page, copy the names (Hold the Cmd key down on a Mac for JUST the names), and so on.
Is there a better/easier way to do this?
