NMC Center of Excellence

The New Media Consortium (NMC) recently presented to Education Technology Services at Penn State the 2010 Center of Excellence award at the recent 2010 NMC Summer Conference. An acceptance video was produced where members of the University community reveal how Penn State develops creative and practical applications of educational technology.

The award recognizes exemplary programs that support emerging technologies, faculty innovation, and online learning. Some of the programs the NMC found exciting at PSU are Blogs at Penn State, the Media Commons, TLT Faculty Fellows, the TLT Symposium, and the Educational Gaming Commons. It is a great honor to be recognized by the people at the NMC and we are thrilled to be in such great company.
