ETS Talk Podcast

Nearly every Friday at 2:00 PM we sit down to talk about the state of education technology in and around Penn State. The ETS Talk Podcast is produced from the 210F Studio in the Rider Building on the University Park campus. Hosted by Cole Camplese, the ETS Talk Podcast has a revolving door of co-hosts — anchored by Brad Kozlek, Chris Millet, and Allan Gyorke. If you’d like to be a guest on ETS Talk or have a question you’d like discussed on the show, send us an email at etstalk@psu.edu. We hope to hear from you and hope you enjoy keeping up with the ETS Talk crew.

ETS Talk 29

So we sat down and pulled off another ETS Talk — this one a whole day early.  I haven’t yet posted the show notes, but will try to do that this weekend after I listen to it.  Cole, Allan, Brad, and Chris talk about a whole host of topics.  Most notable are new hot teams and responding to some comments made by D’Arcy Norman about the Digital Commons project.  Jump over to Podcasts at Penn State and take a listen.

ETS Talk 28: The Digital Commons

We’ve been a little lazy about posting links to the ETS Talk Podcast here at the ETS Blog … I know it doesn’t make much sense, but just getting the show out the door is a lot of work. Thanks to D’Arcy Norman for reminding us and for the post! We’ll have answers for you in Number 29 — maybe he’d like to be a guest? We podcast Thursday 7/26 at 2 PM eastern.Number 28 was a lot of fun … iPhone, Digital Commons, Hot Teams, and a little more iPhone. Jump over to the show notes and get the podcast.

ETS Talk 16: D’Arcy Norman Visits

This week Cole, Allan, and Brad have the pleasure of hosting D’Arcy Norman from the University of Calgary in the 210F Studio … well, he comes in via iChat AV, but that’s close enough. D’Arcy is an international Edu Blogger Rock Star who spends most of his time creating opportunities to engage those in educational contexts with emerging technologies. We spend most of the show talking about how to get strategic about selecting technologies that can have an impact on the educational process and how we look at scaling them. Clearly we are all still talking Twitter, but the new item this week is Yahoo Pipes. We hop you enjoy!

ETS Talk Podcast 15: Getting our Twitter On

Cole, Brad, Allan, and Chris return to the ETS Talk 210 F Studio to bring you Episode 15. This week we get our Twitter on and discuss the implications for an instant communication tool. We respond to two, count them, two pieces of listener mail as well. All in all a good show.

ETS Talk 14: TLT Symposium, Horizon Report, and More

This week we welcome Tim Perry to the podcast. Tim got us all thinking about some interesting integration questions when he sent the show an email this week. Tim wondered if we could work to integrate all the big pieces of the new Horizon report into one opportunity. Brad is missing this week, but we have a good conversation that spans the TLT Symposium to our thoughts on Twitter.
