My good friend & founder of this community, Dr. Brett Bixler will talk to us about the potential of Lynda.com for enriching the online & blended learning experiences. Generally, we think of services like Lynda.com as just-in-time how-to tools. Dr. Bixler will talk to us about using the tutorials in Lynda.com to supplement & enhance the teaching & learning experience.
Update on the Accessibility Initiative, Bill Welsh, Director of Disability Services, Dept. of Educational Equity
A lots been happening across the university to improve the teaching & learning experience for all of our students. Mr. Welsh will update us on all the Penn State's been doing over the last six months to meet the needs of our students. Mr. Welsh will give us an idea of the particular challenges some students face & what we can do in our course design to assist them. He will also point us to some additional resources we can take advantage of to improve content delivery.
