Terry O’Heron, ANGEL project manager, notes the following list of interesting facts about the ANGEL 7.1 upgrade:
We successfully transitioned to 7.1 on Saturday (May 19), effective at noon. My sincere gratitude to those individuals who participated in Saturday’s cutover as well as the many who worked on this effort for the last seven months to make all of this possible. Just a few factoids about the transition…
- Developed 450 user documents
- Produced 19 training tutorials
- Created over 600 test scripts
- Scripted and converted a 250 GB data base
- Updated 6 web servers…7 to go
- Performed 120 feature updates
- Maintained over 16,000 software files
- Moved over 10,000 ANGEL Groups
- Transitioned over 8,600 active course sections
- Support over 75,000 users
