Educational Technology Report: TLT staff’s efforts with ANGEL up for award

Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) staff contributed to an entry from Penn State regarding the University’s use of ANGEL that has been named a finalist for the IMS Global Learning Consortium, Inc. Learning Impact Recognition and Awards.

The award recognizes outstanding applications of technology that address the most significant challenges facing education and learning.

TLT’s Terry O’Heron, along with ETS’s Pat Besong and Jeff Swain, worked together to develop a three-minute Flash presentation which is part of the final judging. To view the Flash presentation, please go here: http://tlt.its.psu.edu/

After you open the link, go to “IMS Global Learning Consortium Learning Impact Awards Entry: ANGEL” under “Featured Items” on the left side.

At the Learning Impact conference April 16, an esteemed panel of judges will vote to order the finalists. It is anticipated that the top five will be designated platinum, the second five designated gold, the third five designated silver,and the fourth five designated bronze. The finalists rated below number 20 by the judges will receive honorable mention. All finalists will be featured in the conference report and on the IMS public web site at http://imsglobal.org.
