Service Sheet: Turnitin

Turnitin is an originality detection system owned by Turnitin.com, to which Penn State has a license. Faculty can submit students’ papers themselves or allow students to submit their own papers to the system to perform originality checks. Faculty can optionally allow students to view Originality Reports generated by Turnitin, and use the system as a tool to teach plagiarism prevention.
Our Service Sheets have been designed for you to print and share with others. It will provide you with the main details around this service and should give you all the information you may need to begin taking advantage of this Penn State resource.
