Week of Feb 12 - 16
I met with Mickey Park on Feb 13 for 1/2 hr. She had a problem with the inconsistent appearance of her web based survey form in different browsers. The problem turned out to be due to irrelevant html code pieces in the web page. Also, I showed her how to include a button on a web page for an easy navigation to other pages.
Feb. 4 - Feb. 10
Meeting with Elise Uhring on Wednesday, Feb. 7
- This was the first meeting between Elise and me. She wants some basic and advanced knowledge of the Angel website and PowerPoint. I gave her a basic overview of PowerPoint and answered some questions she had since Angel was experiencing technical difficulties at the time. I taught her how to do transitions between slides, add images, and add themes. In our next tutoring session this Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Meeting with Jon Olson on Thursday, Feb. 8
- Jon and I went over the file structure of his online content. Jon is currently transitioning towards a template that he has on his main page, and configuring the rest of his pages to that template. He had a couple questions in regards to where files were located and how to make the transition. I set him up to make the changes. He is working on these updates this week before our meeting this week on Thursday, Feb. 15.
- I sent Philip Baldi a follow-up email since I still hadn't heard from him. He responded with this: "right now i have my power point needs on hold. i'll get back to you as soon as i dig out of the business that i am in." So once he sends me an email saying he wants to meet I will do so accordingly.

21 January - 3 February
I met with Paula Faulkner on 30 Jan. at her dorm in White Course to go over PowerPoint transitions and to install SAS (statistics software) on her pc. We will meet again (probably this weekend) to go over the PSUThesi application.
On Friday 2 Feb, I met with Dr. Rosenberger (once in the morning and once in the afternoon) to go over setting up a gradebook in Angel. We will be meeting again to go through uploading grades from a scrantron into Gradebook. To be honest I'm not sure how to do this but will look around before we meet. If anyone knows please let me know.
Between my two meetings with Dr. Rosenberger I met with Dr. Chow to go through setting up a gradebook, attendance, and viewing submitted responses in Angel. We will meet again to go over more issues in Angel and to set up her U-Drive. I have to call her tech support as I am unable to set it even when following the instructions verbatim. I tried using the vpn to do it, but was unable to install it. Does anyone know if the Health and Human Development complex by the Nittany Lion Inn is technically on Penn State's network or will I have to use a vpn to get U-Drive access.
I still have been unable to get in contact with Marvin Hall by email. I will call in person tomorrow and hope for the best.

Jan. 28 - Feb. 3
Meeting with Bruce Herold on Monday, Jan. 29
- Bruce and I met in an empty lab classroom in Sparks and went over how to use the podium technologies. I showed him what each piece of the equipment does and how to use it. We started up the projector and got the image of his desktop to display. We also played with the sound system and saw how that works. By the end of our session Bruce became very comfortable with the podium setting and felt confident he could use it next time. We are done meeting for now unless he sends me an email to meet again.
Meeting with Jon Olson on Tuesday, Jan. 30
- Jon and I met at his office in Bouke and showed me what he completed over the break. He made some updates to his website and also created a video for his website. He created the video using the technology learning center as a place to learn how to edit and compile his video. We spent some time answering some questions he encountered in webpage formatting, but most of our time was spent learning how to post the video to his website and utilizing the streaming video content. We ran into some errors and I am investigating those this week. We are meeting this Wednesday, Feb. 7.
- I sent Philip Baldi an email last week when he was assigned to me and has not responded yet. I will resend that email today. If no response comes, I'll set Dan know.
- I am also having my first meeting this week with Elise Uhring on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Week of Jan. 29 - Feb. 2
I met with Dr. Maxwell on Jan. 29 for 1/2 hr. We went over her gradebook settings. I helped her create categorizes and assignments and make her gradebook in consistent with the syllabus. I also showed her how to copy gradebook settings and content to the other sections of hers.
