Week of Dec 4 - Dec 8
I met with Dr. Sen on Dec. 8 for 1 hour. We went over her gradebook setup. I helped her make the category weights and assignments in the gradebook in sync with her syllabus, and answered her gradebook related questions.
Week 12: Dec3- Dec 9
No consultations.
I have scheduled a meeting with Craig Eozzo, on Breeze consulting, this Friday(Dec.15).
This Week of Consultations
Tuesday December 5 at 4:15 PM in Sparks computer lab with Lorena Waselinko for 1 hour.
Lorena wanted to know how to use announcements, grade book, and other course tools.
I showed her how to post announcements and how to configure the course so that the default welcome page to the course can show them. I gave her an overview of the grade book and showed her the tutorial on ANGEL.
Week 10: Nov. 27 to Dec. 2
Total Hours this week: 3
Meeting with Maria Hernandez on Nov. 28
- Maria and I went over a few more tweaks she wanted to make to her web page. I guided her through on how to make embedded links, upload a picture, and change background colors. She also had a few questions in regards to using the Angel grade book which I helped her out with. We will not be meeting again unless she has a question in the upcoming weeks.
Meeting with Jon Olson on Nov. 29
- Jon and I went over some modifications he made to the writing center website and some questions he ran into. Most of these questions regarded future upgrades he would like to make to the site and how he could accomplish them. We will not be meeting again until next semester or unless he has some major questions before break.
Meeting with Kevin on Nov. 30
- Kevin and I also went over some questions he had regarding the creation of his web page. I guided him through the template and how SSH works. He is going to fill the form out on his own time and then we will meet whenever he needs my assistance.
* I also emailed my new client Ann Sidone but have heard no reply yet.
Week 10
I met with Paula Faulkner last week. I was under the impression we were going over her PSUThesi questions, but instead we worked on a survey using Survey Monkey. I had no prior experience with Survey Monkey, but was able to figure it out. I will be meeting her again today at 4:30 to make final touches on her questionnaire, and help her send it to some 150 research participants in her survey.
Ms. Dumas has yet to respond, so I think I will keep trying to get in contact with her before our usual Wednesday meeting time. Mr. McDevitt couldn't meet last week, but we are meeting today at 3pm.
29 November: 45 minutes.
