Attendance Summary in ANGEL

Submitted by jag29 on Mon, 2006-12-04 08:57.

Does anyone know of a way to get a sum total of attendance in ANGEL? I know you can scan each month one by one but it seems to me that it could be done quicker.

This Week of Consultations

Submitted by jag29 on Mon, 2006-12-04 08:53.

Tuesday November 28 at 4:15 PM in Sparks computer lab with Lorena Waselinko for 1 hour.

Lorena want to get more familiar with various ANGEL topics such as Attendance, using Drop Boxes, Grade Book, and general getting around. She also wanted to learn more about Firefox and how to use the download manager for opening files either instead of downloading them and then opening them, or using the download manager dialog to open the file after downloading so she would not have to hunt for a file.

I showed her the attendance and drop box features of ANGEL and got her used to the download manager in Firefox. We didn't get to the grade book feature but plan on it during our next meeting.

We will be meeting again this Tuesday.

I was supposed to meet with Jamie Oberdick to be interviewed for the TLA website but he never responded to my e-mail and I never ended up meeting with him. I’m also looking forward to podcast training but it looks like I’ll have to be a TLA for another semester to get that done. ;-)

I recently met again with Maritza to go over her grade worksheet, and will be meeting with her at the end of this week to help her with some other technical difficulties. We spend about one to two hours each consultation working. I know I haven’t keep the best track of my hours but I can calculate them if need be. I also scheduled my first meeting with Kathleen Postle and I look forward to building a relationship with another client.
