Meeting with Maria Hernandez on Sept. 26 (0.6 hr)
- I met with Maria and went over some additional questions she had about PowerPoint transitions and action functionality. We were able to successfully make color and text changing actions throughout her PowerPoint slides. I then set up a request for her web space in order for her to post a web page on. I also guided her through a web page template she is going to use to create her web page through the technology services links that were provided. For this upcoming meeting we will be going over the steps in uploading and changing her web page.

Meeting with Kevin on Sept. 26 (1.0 hr)
- I met with Kevin and went over basic computer goals that he wants to accomplish this semester. Among them were learning how to use Excel, download and install a program, utilize all of the Angel functionality, learn how to burn a disk, and learn how to post and use streaming video. In the first meeting I was able to help him with some of these tasks. We were able to burn a data CD and taught him how to use the CD burning software. I was able to teach him some basic ways of using Excel as a grade sheet. We also went through downloading and installing a program. We ran into some difficulties here because we tried downloading Adobe (a tool he needed to run a certain application) and for some odd reason we had trouble installing it. I concluded he was having difficulties because of some restrictions in the permissions of his computer. He is going to contact technicians in his building and I shall find out the answer in our next meeting. For our next meeting, I will be researching streaming video content on Angel and going over some of Angels functions.

Meeting with Jon Olson on Sept. 29 (1.0 hr)
- I met with Jon Olson and we went over our basic goals for this semester. He really wants to learn more about HTML, more specifically how he can edit content in the code level. I went through some example and we made some progress in changing and uploading some files. He also needed some assistance in scanning pictures and placing them into a PowerPoint presentation. We went to a computer lab that has a scanner and was able to guide him through the steps of successfully scanning, saving, and copy/paste an image into a PowerPoint. Our goals for the next meeting are going over more HTML examples.

Meeting with Claudia C. Mincemoyer on Sept. 29 (1.0 hr)
- I met with Claudia and her two other assistants who are trying to put together an online Angel course for next semester. They have a great outline of what they want started. They described to me the overall goals and the timeframe. I will be working with a woman named Dana DeNobe next week and we will go over the basics of Angel. I will guide her through and show her how to create certain things. They also requested using Electronic Reserve for some books. I will be researching how to use electronic reserve and report back to them in this upcoming meeting.
