Information Technology Services (ITS) announced July 1, 2013 that Penn State has renewed their contract with Turnitin, the web-based plagiarism detection and prevention system.
Along with the Turnitin Originality Report, the Penn State community will have access to two new services, GradeMark and PeerMark. GradeMark offers faculty an online, paperless option for grading student papers, including a way to add comments. PeerMark allows students to evaluate each other’s work so they can learn from their classmates via peer review.
There is now a TWT group on the Penn State Yammer network.
Yammer is a Penn State communication network with tools similar to Facebook. When you join the TWT group in Yammer, you will see the latest news and have a place to post comments or ask questions. Yammer also includes a "Notifications" feature which allows you to funnel different Yammer messages to your e-mail, or you can access Yammer via the Web or a Yammer app similar to a Twitter app.
