I thought I would wrap up the semester with two ANGEL final tips
Tip #9 is a simple discussion board tip to rotate discussion board maderator duties among your students. If your class relies heavily on discussion, then you can appoint one student each week to take charge of moderate the discussion.
That student can formulate a question, write replies and perhaps do an overall critique of the discussion. Not only does this reduce the amount of moderation from the instructor, but gives students a chance to assume increased responsibility and focus more on a particular topic.
Note: If your class does not allow rotation through every student, then consider dividing students into teams and rotating or allowing co-moderators.
Tip #10 is both a discussion tip and a Dropbox tip. If your class involves peer review of student projects (e.g. an art project, writing sample or a PowerPoint presentation), then you can set the Dropbox to Peer Review. This allows students to see and download submissions from each other so they can be critiqued.
To set a drop box to Peer Review
1. Create a Drop Box (Lessons >> Add Content >> Dropbox)
2. Click the Review tab.
3. Change the User Review menu to "Peer Review".
See http://angelkb.ais.psu.edu/article.asp?article=1383&p=2
Note: The "Peer Review" option can be used in Dropboxes set up in team file space. This allows team members to download documents so they can be reviewed, but prevents revised documents from overwriting the original version.

Bonus Tip #11 - When setting up a dropbox, you can restrict the number of submissions per student. Click the Submisssion tab when you create a dropbox to see options.
