Why I Did/Did Not Participate in a Quest
- Quest 1 - Web 2 Tour Using the Nethernet Firefox Plugin
- I enjoyed trying the new program, although I had a bit of a hard time at first getting the plugin to work.
- This was fun and I've still got the program running at home and have participated in some other missions/quests though I'm not into the grenade launching, etc.
- I liked this quest and bookmarked a number of the sites so i can visit then in the future
- I never got the Nethernet plugin to work for me.

- Quest 2 - Twitter and Wikis
This was easy and nice to see.

Signed up but have yet to "tweet". I have to admit- it kind of gives me the creeps to receive emails that people are "following me". Not sure I'll be tweeting, I find I often only return to sites like twitter or facebook if I really need them for something, which translates into my rarely visiting them.
- I'm not sure about Mr. Tweet - it would have been nice to have more explanation of why we might want to add him. I'm pretty protective of my followers list, so this wasn't a good match for me.
- Quest 3 - Blogs at PSU
I already have a blog, but went through this anyway.

Was glad to have the blog background when I went to the symposium, as blogs were discussed a lot. Still have to start my own.
I had been meaning to get back to the blog I started in ITS training and this was a great push in that direction
I already have a PSU Blog - I didn't get a chance to blog about anything, but does tweeting count? For me, twitter has pretty much replaced blogging...
- Quest 4 - YouTube
I had a busy week and didn't feel I had anything to say so did not do this.

I decided to play camera shy on this one. Though I do think you tube is a great source for many different tutorials. I did not do this one due to time constraints.
- Quest 5 - Mini Augmented Reality Game at University Park
- I did not participate because it was held during normal work hours from which I could not escape.
I drove up after class on Friday so didn't have opportunity, although would have liked to join in.
- Ditto the first comment- had to teach and attend a meeting I couldn't get out of.
- I was on campus, so I was able to participate in Quest 5. I wish I had time to participate in the other quests. Quest 5 was a fabulous way of introducing UP Campus to off-campus participants. It was great to be paired with the campus staff also, because they had a knowledge of campus to help the off campus staff. I think if this is repeated next year. Outcomes and objectives of what can be learned by participating will help those who feel that it is a game and that it is not something that would help in their work. I took away a lot from this activity and learned a lot about UP campus by going through Quest 5.
- I enjoyed quest 5, though I had to cut out early to get back to the office.
I enjoyed quest 5, though I think that there should be two tracks in the future for people who might already know about these resources. I'd like to experience a full-on ARG.
Things We Did Right
- Pacing of quests seemed OK.
- Time to complete quests was reasonable.
- Quests were educational and fun.
- I liked the idea of a quest and found it easy to navigate once I got into it.
- Wasn't too difficult and introduced me to new technologies I hadn't used.

Things We Could Improve
- Make the quest more game-like.
- I would have liked to have an avatar :) to manipulate and join in.
- Did not get a sense of the others involved in the game, except through twitter.

New Things We Should Next Time
- Create more social interactions amongst players.
- Two tracts - one for those new to Web 2 and gaming, one for advanced players.
- I agree with both of the above.
- Expand the space-time continuum so I could fit more of this into my busy schedule. I enjoyed what I did, however.
