Faculty Fellows

Mary is writing 4 separate stories for the Faculty Fellows

1. We need to get these into the DailyBuzz schedule
   • The story in Elyssa Cahoy has been approved by Elyssa and Cole
   • Mary needs to get the date of the DC Tailgate because Elyssa is offering the same session she did at LDSC at the DC Tailgate
   • Elyssa's story is scheduled to run on 8/27
   • Mary is touching base with Annemarie Mountz about running the story in the newswires and on Penn State Live
2. Mary plans to have all of these drafted before she leaves on vacation on 9/13

PSU Voices

There will be an expanded rollout of PSU Voices on 8/17

1. We can do a feature on PSU Voices
   • Will be spotlighted on the TLT site
   • Will run in the newswires
2. We have this scheduled to run in the Daily Buzz on 9/3; it will run as a spotlighted story on the TLT site and in the newswires that week

Protected Blogs

The protected blog service will rollout on 8/17

1. Brad does not want to do a big marketing push for this
2. We will do a "5 Questions" with Brad that will also have a link to the FAQ he set up on the Blogs @ PSU site; this is scheduled to be published on 8/20
3. We will let the ITS Communicators and ITS Consultants know about the protected blog service so they can spread the word to the faculty and staff they are meeting with
   • Ask them to see what kind of response they get from people; questions, demand, etc.
4. Audrey will talk to Brad about doing some styles for the interface

Features on TLT Site

Digital Commons Tailgate

1. Mary will write this feature
2. It will be published on 9/11; the Back to School Guide will come down on the same day
3. We will take it down the first day of the DC Tailgate; tentatively scheduled for 11/09 at Altoona campus

Pandemic Planning

A feature story that we would have ready to go if needed

1. Similar to the Faculty Quick Start Guide
   • Pull content from the letter that Allan is working on for the Faculty Senate
   • Jamie will work on this story

Winter-Fest 2009

We need to look at dates for when registration

1. Do we want to tie this into some type of feature that is a bookend to the Back to School Guide feature that ran at the beginning of the semester?

Symposium 2010

Beginning of February

EGC Open House

Brett told Derick that the EGC open house is being planned for 9/2

1. Brett did not specify hours or any other details
2. Student Involvement Fair
3. Collegian ad
4. Student newswire story
5. This Squirrel page on FB (Cynde Fleagle)
6. EGC group on FB

TLT Widget

We want to keep the schedule of updating this to coincide with the TLT Feature story schedule

1. Each update would link back to the feature story on the TLT site
2. The images in the graphic for the widget would be the same as the image for the feature story

Updates to Connecting with TLT Page on TLT Site

The "About" section on the TLT site is the main area where content on the site exists

1. Most of the other sections feature redirects to other sites

Mary will edit the Connecting with TLT page and remove the old dates for the informal training.
