Community Hub Overview
There are now 13 Community Hubs that are managed in a collaborative way by ETS. The first Community Hub was the ANGEL CH, managed by Jeff Swain. We have found the CH concept to be a powerful model for both supporting and inviting communities to contribute to the success of initiatives. With the agility we have worked towards in ETS it has become increasingly difficult to manage the support component of projects. The CH are designed to allow a community to find new ways to support itself. So far we have seen very positive outcomes flow from the CH initiative.
Why Community Hubs

Technology Used
All of the CH are built using the open source content management system, Drupal. Drupal provide us with a free and easy to use CMS that is both extensible and powerful. While there are dozens of open source CMS tools available, Drupal provides us with an easy to use environment that supports both administrative needs and those of our users. We use a handful of modules to extend Drupal to support our specific set of needs.

Community Hub Aggregator
The Community Hub Aggregator has been designed to pull content together from all existing and future Community Hubs. This Hub is not managed by any one person and is really just a collection of the latest content from across all of the Hubs. Visit the Community Hub Aggregator to see it in action.
