EGC Faculty, Individual Consultations
Major news! Steve Thorne is beginning a reseach project title "Language Learning in Online Gaming Environments." We will use the EGC lab with 16 participants to determine the effectiveness of various gaming environments as second and foreign language learning. To start, we'll use World of Warcraft. Steve has an IRB in process. Our hope is to kick this off by the end of Oct, collect data until the end of the semester as the initial pilot.
Exciting stuff - this is what the lab is all about.
