International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).NETS for Students---National Educational Technology Standards. 2007. The new AASL and ISTE standards both provide new perspectives on the rapidly merging role of information literacy with other critical digital literacies.

Lippincott, Joan M. Student Content Creators: Convergence of Literacies. E Review, vol. 42, no. 6 (November/December 2007): 16–17. This article neatly sums up the changing face of information literacy, and its' role alongside other digital literacies, including media, technology and visual literacies.
