Workshop assessment results / future plans and modifications to workshop outline

Go through Kaltura step by step Present concrete examples of fair use / package this section more---limit discussion Create (or draw upon an existing) one sheet handout on fair use Troubleshoot library database and tech problems in advance

Start a wiki prior to the class where attendees can post questions, ideas, etc... Fair use info; library resources info, a one stop shop for all information discussed in the workshop

Consider this as a full day workshop (with lunch)

Ohio State three day digital storytelling workshop--example similar to our model but with a different focus.

Consider offering a spring workshop that is longer in format and provides more step-by step instruction in creating a historical narrative.

Smaller laptops limited the ability to see entire screen. Need larger laptops or Kaltura interface needs improvement. (Chris may work on this.)

Consider doing an updated version of the workshop for the Tailgate in the fall, and then prior to the Symposium in spring. Loanne or Emily might substitute for the fall workshop.

Working with fall classes (Hartman and Rimland / Behler)

  1. Identifying learning outcomes in collaboration with instructors
  2. Designing rubric for assessment
  3. Once outcomes have been identified, designing pre and post-test

Design for fall research and IRB (including instructors as co-investigators)
