From ETS
Videos for technologies in the Learning Spaces
Mary Ramsey would like to create short videos that demonstrate how to use the technologies that are available in the Learning Spaces - CopyCam, interactive white board, MIDI keyboard, TeamSpot)
- Mary has spoken to Chris Millet previously about doing videos
- Derick touched base with Chris and confirmed that there are no videos in the progress, but DC staff would be available to work on these
- Should these videos be done by the Training Group?
- Let Chris and Lisa know about the idea of doing these videos - see what their input is
Allan suggested that Stuart Selber, who is a faculty fellow with ETS this summer, might be interested as he has an interest in creating job aids. Elizabeth Pyatt is heading up the team from ETS working with Stuart, and I contacted her regarding this. Elizabeth said that Stuart is interested, especially if there might be service learning opportunities for his technical writing course.
- Stuart has suggested that these could work well under his Public Writing Initiative
- Stuart's main question is when does Mary need these videos
- He would like to assign a class to work on these in the fall
- Derick will touch base with Stuart and get more info from Mary as to time frames

Purchasing Card Cardholder Agreement
An email was sent this morning regarding the need for PSU purchasing card holders to provide an electronic signature. We all need to do this ASAP. The directions are as follows:
- Click on this link
- After clicking on the link you will need to sign in with your user ID and password.
- It is very important that you read the Purchasing Card Cardholder Agreement which discusses conditions which may lead to payroll deductions.
- At the bottom of the agreement there is a statement which reads, “By clicking the “I Agree” button below, you indicate that you have read the agreement and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.” If you agree to the terms of the agreement click on the “I Agree” button.
- You will then receive the response “Thank you for signing the Purchasing Card agreement.” You may then logout at the top of the page, your agreement is complete.
- If for some reason you do not feel comfortable agreeing to the terms, please hit cancel, logout at the top of the next page, and contact your Financial Officer. If these terms are not acceptable to you, it may require that your purchasing card be cancelled.
- Please note – you will NOT have to retake the quiz before signing this agreement. However, if you wish to review the tutorial again, it is available here
