In one sentence, define Learning Design as you would to a faculty member:
- Brett Bixler - I work with faculty to develop lessons, courses, and curricula.
- Elizabeth Pyatt - We help instructors use educational technology effectively. Don't worry, we can do this!
- Cole Camplese - What are the things that you'd like to talk about?
- April Sheninger - IDs create instructional environments and materials to help bring learners from a state of not knowing, not feeling or not being able to accomplish certain tasks to the state of knowing, feeling and being able to accomplish those tasks.
- Brenda Farver - I apply a logical, outlined approach to create engaging, interactive training that reinforces the instruction given by faculty.
- Matt Meyer- I help instructors find ways to make teaching and learning more engaging.
- Carol McQuiggan - I listen, connect, consult, design, develop, research, write, plan, strategize, assemble, inform, search, play, implement, assist, advocate, envision, engage, hope, communicate, integrate, diversify, motivate, with and for faculty - all for the betterment of teaching and learning.
- Tess Crossen - I work with students and faculty to acquire an understanding of their experiences with teaching, learning and content to help create learning environments that provide for improved teaching and learning and safe failures.
