Flickr Slideshow
- This would take a Flickr user account or tag and display recent or random images
- Useful for projects and events, wouldn't have the Flickr branding
Flash questions for Testing Center
- Suggested by Michael Troyen, Bi Sci faculty. Faculty cannot do this themselves.
- could tie into teaching students to code in flash
Short Blog How-To Animations
- Example: using the blogs to take class notes, using categories to specify the relevant course and topics
- Focus is more on why to use tags, etc... instead of step-by-step how-to screencasts
- Cole has seen some examples of this
Multimedia Community Group
- Bringing in people for brown bag lunches on monthly basis
- Campus participation via Breeze
- Currently posting on Learning Design Hub under "multimedia" tag
- Will cover all different types of media (community driven topics)
- Will tap members for presentations
- First meeting in September, Friday Sept. 26
- Actionscript 3.0 primer for the first meeting
- Meet in 202K at first, other locations if available
- Will create an Actionscript 3.0 WIKI for useful code
- Pitch this group at the Learning Design Summer Camp
