Tara says that she hates her haircut, but the rest of the group is all agreed that it looks very nice.

Promotional video to faculty

This is not a priority, but it is something that we need to be thinking about

• Establish a workflow with Brett to discuss content for a script
• Do we film it ourselves or ask Kim Winck to be involved?

Redesign of the EGC web site

• Brett will come to the next Web Team meeting

1. The meeting on 11/19 will be cancelled due to Audrey and George traveling back from NYC

Service sheet

• Derick sent Brett a template of the service sheets

1. Brett is adding content and will send it to us when it is ready for editing

TLT Widget

The widget is on the Symposium site but it is not Symposium related

• We need to set up a schedule of what will appear on the widget

1. Zac needs to be involved in the scheduling process as he will be creating the content of the widget in Flash

• The next topic for the widget will be open registration for the Symposium

1. Derick will talk with Zac to see what he needs for this
2. Announcements for open registration go out week of 11/9

• Where should the actual widget reside

1. Where users go to get the code for the widget
   • TLT site or Symposium site

TLT Site

Highlights

Audrey revised the Highlights section on the home page

• The stories and videos now appear under the same section

1. The video boxes have a play button graphic
   • We need to make sure that the video highlights either link directly to the video or have the video embedded in the story that it links to

Widget

We should talk with Allan about moving the widget to the TLT site

Google Analytics report for TLT Retreat

JTH has asked Audrey and Derick to come to the TLT retreat on 11/16 to "help educate" the leadership team on what the Analytics reports we are doing on the TLT site mean and what we're doing

• Audrey will not be available on the 16th as she and George will be in NYC
• DC does has been running analytics on their site for a much longer period

1. The DC site is different that the TLT site because it actually has a lot of content right on the site whereas the TLT site directs users to content
2. Derick will talk to Chris Millet to see if he would be willing to present at the retreat as well

Presentation

• Put together some slides

1. TLT site
   • A portal and news site
2. DC site
   • Very content driven with documentation, tutorials, videos, etc.
3. Training Services site
   • Event oriented site
   • Scheduling and participating in events

• Each of these sites has a different purpose that analytics plays a part

1. TLT site to track marketing campaigns
   • Their effectiveness
2. The DC site to provide users with the content that they are looking for
3. Training Services site to track the campaigns to registrations
   • We don't know if users actually complete the registration process

Winter-Fest update

• How are those descriptions coming?

1. Mary edited and returned to the EGC description to Brett
   • She told Brett to send it to Heather Ormsby and cc the TLT Comm Group

Other promotional videos

• lynda.com (working with the staff at lynda)

1. Would be targeted at faculty
2. Would use images of actual Penn State users and quotes

• TLA (can we do a case study, similar to TWT?)
