Overview

The focus of the design of Sparks will be to create a learning space that

Computer desks that allow multiple students to fit comfortably around a single machine
Multiple monitors
Projector or plasma screen accessible from all workstations
Podcasting booth(s)
Rolling chairs
Video viewing area

Ideas after meeting with McCartneys

All furniture on castors (this allows for maximum flexiblilty)
Floating shelves located under mounted iMacs for decks and keyboards
Focal wall with "movie posters" of student work
One accent wall in light blue other three walls in light grey, seating will be an olive green as an accent as well?
Gallery lighting against focal wall for movie posters
Deana is going to check with Keith on the height limitations for the cubicle walls
Faux leather couch for viewing area

Deanna referred me to The Sign Stop for lettering, their price is $11 per letter which equals $209 for Digital Media Commons
