Horizontal with Summer Camp wording

I don't know if there is a particular reason for changing the wording in the logo, but here is my attempt at two versions. The first with the wording change, the second incorporates Stevie's campfire as the "a" in "Camp". Asg102 23:14, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

SummerCamp2008b.jpg I like this one with Summer Camp and the fire for the A. (But they are ALL good ideas) And to go with what Cole mentioned - I would definitely pay to get a t-shirt with this logo. Another thought on T-shirts - when my kids are in plays or recitals and they get their shirts, names of all participants are on back - that might be another option. - Jackie R

Okay, obviously I'm slower on the draw since I had to cutpasteTHIS (smirk) but here's a rough mock up of the marshmallows and fire. I do think whimsy is important, since we keep talking about making it "fun." Oooh, and I like the camp fire being the "a" in camp. Nice imagery there. ~Robin

Soo, I have no idea why I'm obsessing about the roasting marshmallows, but when I see an opportunity.... ~Robin

Maybe multiple sticks....for the group idea. Hannah

Umm, yeah - the campers here are supposed to be a pavilion. Note that I said "supposed" to be.  ;) - Michelle P.

I think this is what I heard Stevie request- the image with a fire in a consistent style where the "a" is. (I'm kind of lost...) These tonalities are different not by design but so they may be more easily manipulated. ForStevier.jpg

I like this one the best. - Brett B.

And now for something completely different... - Shannon R.

Ha-ha! From the SL guru comes the SL logo! I love it! - Michelle P.

Second life is cute! Some interesting possibilities come from using a virtual environment as a staging ground. If no one had uploaded images as "starting points" or as "options," could the community create images that are completely their own but still addressing the community? We have graphics personnel who can develop ideas from folks who may be uncomfortable in a visual medium. Don't stop. Okay, go watch the fireworks and eat a weenie first.

I don't know who uploaded this one, but I like the fresh take on it, between the vertical orientation, Mt. Nittany in the background, and the great expanse of sky, it *really* says outdoors to me. A lot like the Central PA skyline when you're hiking. Kudos to this artist! ~Robin

I like this one as well, my second choice. - Brett B.
