On the topic of Adobe Connect. Number 1 is not possible. I'm not sure who you talked to that said it would be. I can control the entire login process, but can not control anything about the logout process. A typically logout is only ever available as a link from within the main adobe application home screen. Most users do not even go to this screen and get logged directly into a meeting, from there they just close the window which is enough to end their session. The meeting application does not return back to this interface.

The only implemented place I have seen this is another university who added a logout button to the meeting launcher, this is the small white window you see when you first launch a meeting. Depending on your browser and if you have the meeting addin installed you will see this window again after closing the meeting application; which is streaming flash and not http data. From there if the user would click logout they can be redirected to a survey, but they don't have to even click it. An insidious application to monitor when a window closes isn't possible with Adobe Connect because of the way the meeting application is launched.
